Sequence is to add to its highly successful Cardiff based office by opening a new regional office in North Wales. Located in Bangor, the new office is being opened in response to the growing demand for digital services in the north of the country.

Sequence’s regional office in Bangor will be located in Technium CAST (Centre for Advanced Software Technology), a superb 6,500 sq m facility at Bangor’s Parc Menai. The Centre, which is at the hub of North Wales’ growing technology industry, offers businesses incubation environments dedicated to providing the relevant knowledge, support and physical facilities to help technology businesses realise their potential for long-term growth.

The Bangor office will be led by a senior project manager and will have a small, on-site dedicated development and design team working alongside. Richard Baker, Managing Director of Sequence commented: "Opening a regional office in North Wales seemed a natural choice as we already have a strong client base in the region. We believe for successful project delivery, it is important to have face to face contact with the client. Our new regional office will give us the geographical ability to strengthen new and existing client relationships."

The decision to open a new office has also been prompted by the Welsh Assembly Government’s (WAG) multi-million-pound Broadband Wales programme which has enticed small businesses to invest in North Wales. In 2006, FibreSpeed Wales, an initiative of Broadband Wales, enabled 14 business parks in North Wales to gain affordable access to advanced high-speed broadband access.

Richard Baker concluded: "Thanks to WAG providing cutting edge ICT support in North Wales, the climate for digital and online solutions in the region continues to be positive and innovative. I am looking forward to establishing a strong presence in North Wales and becoming a key part of this growing industry."
