Sequence Number 1 Agency in Wales Again
The list for 'New Media Age Top 100 Interactive Agencies 2004' was published today and Sequence has made the list for the third year in a row. This year, Sequence has continued to climb up the table, becoming the 86th Agency in the UK, and are again still the only Welsh agency to make the Top 100.
New Media Age is the UK's only weekly magazine covering the business of interactive media, the Internet, wireless Internet and interactive TV, and is now the centrepiece of a range of offerings, including the industry's biggest awards, the NMA Top 100 interactive Agencies 2004. The awards are survey-based, asking companies to comment on their turnover, number of staff, percentage of new media work, key clients, business split and target market.
The Top 100 are based on revenues over the last year which, due to Sequence's July year end saw the FY 02/03 figures of just over £1.1M being used. Managing Director, Richard Baker is delighted: "Making 86th based upon our figures from the year before last lines us up for even greater success in the 2005 listings – our 03/04 figures are up to £1.33M, and our 04/04 projections are showing a continued increase in both turnover and profitability".
Richard Baker continues, "Sequence is delighted to have made the Top 100 for a third year running and it's really great to be in the top 40 'Web Design and Build Category'. "Our team has proven that we can compete on a large scale, and still keep our quality and service of work up to the highest of standards".
"Working such a diverse client base such as Cardiff University, Volkswagen, NTL, Storm Models, PHS Plc, National Assembly for Wales, WDA and the Countryside Council for Wales, has helped us maintain our continued cross sector growth, which when coupled by major improvements in quality & efficiency has ensured that we maintain our position as the first intelligent client choice for any interactive project within Wales".
