The key to having a good website is making sure that people know that it’s there, which is why we carried out a digital marketing campaign for Diamond Ring Specialist, Clive Ranger.
Clive Ranger is widely recognised as "The Diamond Ring Specialist" in South Wales and the West of England. The company’s expertise in manufacturing and design enables it to offer unique and innovative jewellery at excellent value to its customers.
Following the successful launch of their e-commerce website in 2006 we worked with the team at Clive Ranger on their digital marketing strategy. Today’s worldwide web is jam-packed with websites and web pages so having an online marketing strategy has become an essential element in the marketing mix.
We devised the online advertising strategy to compliment and enhance their offline marketing campaigns. The roll out of this campaign began at the start of December 2006 to target the online Christmas shopper. A series of advertisements and banners were placed on identified sites to direct the online Christmas shopper to the new Clive Ranger site.
Advertisements were placed on key sites in Wales and the South West; for example the Western Mail’s www.icwales.co.uk and Bristol Evening Post’s www.thisisbristol.co.uk. In the first week alone the new site had over 10,000 visitors and around 70% of this traffic came from the online advertisements.
