HRR Solutions, the number one provider of on-line Human Resources (HR) and Employment law required an e-commerce site that would leverage their online presence and increase the customer online experience.
HRR Solutions provide online HR and Employment Law support to over 1,000 businesses in the UK. However, despite the company’s commercial success their online presence was failing to deliver. Their former website was packed full of comprehensive and useful information but users were unable to reap the benefits of the site due to its poor navigation and design.
We began the project by holding workshops with key stakeholders. Our focus was to develop a digital strategy that would maximise HRR Solutions’ e-business potential; to achieve this we needed to really understand their key customers and their online needs.
HRR Solutions’ core customer base is made up of managers and owners of Small to Medium Enterprises (SME’s) who do not have the time and/or the resources to carry out HR services in their business. From our research we concluded that their customers needed a ‘virtual HR department’ - the website needed to offer quick practical help and have the functionality to store hundreds of legal documents that were easily accessible.
Taking these complex challenges on board, our in-house development team created a bespoke document builder for the website. The builder stores hundreds of legal letters, policies, guides and contracts which subscribers to the site can customise to suit their business needs. With the functionality in place we then created a new brand and look for the site. HRR Solutions wanted a site to appeal to a broad range of businesses so we used natural colours in the designs to give it a striking yet simple look.
We are extremely proud of the website and we feel that we have perfectly fulfilled the client’s brief. No longer are mangers and owners of SME’s hampered by having to search through vast amounts of HR information held by different organisations in various formats – they can get all the information they need from one website and it is aptly called myhrdept.co.uk
